SVS Regional Bus Hub-NEPA is in City planning or preliminary engineering
Sacramento Public Works lists SVS Regional Bus Hub-NEPA in the “Preliminary Engineering” phase. The project includes: an elevated 18-bay bus station above a lower-level mobility center. The upper concourse houses bus operator breakroom and restrooms, passenger waiting areas, and with 10 bays provided with electric charging infrastructure to the point of connection. Below the bus level, a lower-level mobility center will consist of a dedicated area for micro-transit and shuttle pick-up and drop-off with provision for 116 vehicle spaces with capability provided for EV car charging and car share and the potential for autonomous vehicle facilities as a central hub. At the passenger tunnel level, the existing passenger tunnel serving the rail facilities will be expanded for a bike station and storage infrastructure and public restrooms. An extension of the existing F Street Bikeway to a Class I facility terminating at 2nd Street and provides direct access to the station mobility level. Schedule fields are plans and may change.
