Sacramento project record
Sacramento River Pkwy Bike Trail is in final design
Sacramento Public Works lists Sacramento River Pkwy Bike Trail in the “Final Design” phase. The Sacramento River Parkway project will construct a multi-use pedestrian and bicycle path on top of the levee of the Sacramento River in the Pocket-Greenhaven neighborhood, between Garcia Bend Park and Zacharias Park. The project will close a gap in the existing river trail network, and will connect with the Pocket Canal Trail. The project will also include the construction of neighborhood access ramps to the new trail, as well as enhancements to intersections on Pocket Road to improve access for pedestrians and bicyclists from adjacent neighborhoods. Schedule fields are plans and may change.
