Vision Zero School Safety (2/2) is in final design
Sacramento Public Works lists Vision Zero School Safety (2/2) in the “Final Design” phase. Improve conditions around seven schools, including the installation of crosswalks, curb ramps, traffic calming tools, new signs, and similar features to improve safety for young students and residents of the surrounding neighborhoods. A slurry seal will be provided at 2/7 school locations. The following locations are described below: 1. Slurry seal will be placed at Father Keith B. Kenny Elementary School along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. between 9th Ave. and 12th Ave. 2. Slurry seal will be placed at Natomas High School along Fong Ranch Road beginning at San Juan Road and extending north approximately 100 feet. Schedule fields are plans and may change.
