Franklin Boulevard Complete Street - Phase 3 is in final design
Sacramento Public Works lists Franklin Boulevard Complete Street - Phase 3 in the “Final Design” phase. This project, located between 32nd Avenue and 38th Avenue, is the third and final phase of the larger Franklin Boulevard Complete Street project. The goals of the project are to calm traffic, improve safety and reduce injury crashes, and provide comfortable bicycle and pedestrian facilities. The project will reduce vehicle lanes from 4 to 2, install protected bikeways, reconstruct and widen sidewalks (and install new sidewalk where there are gaps), improve lighting, and plant landscaping and trees. The project is funded through the final design and right of way phases, and will be pursuing grant funding for construction. Schedule fields are plans and may change.
